Sauvy B

Another contender for this summer’s house wine comes as no surprise.  New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is legendary.  This example from Framingham is no exception.  The wine has all the classic flavors fans have come to expect with a depth and complexity.

There is gooseberry, chalk, Meyer lemon, and a hint of passion fruit on the nose and palate.  The wine finishes with a rich, twangy lemon curd note showing the wine’s plucky acidity and round full palate.

The 2015 Framingham Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc will pair well with salads, charcuterie and fish fresh from the grill.  Bring on the garden parties and those sunny, sunny days of summer.
