It could be taco any day. There are few foods more satisfying and more varied than tacos. Wednesday’s were enjoyed on the grass at the Wallinford farmer’s markets. It’s a beautiful space in the park next to the Good Shepherd School. Neighbors gather, musician play music, local kids tear around picnic blankets en route to the swings – quite the bucolic scene.
The tacos that night were an effort to bring some variety to our farmers market lifestyle. It’s only right considering the diversity of fruit and veg available from the myriad of vendors on any given day.
Chorizo tacos for me; salty and savory with a sweet, acidic pineapple finish. Bean and cheese quesadillas satisfied the rest of my party. Sitting for a brief moment in silence (read everyone was eating) all was right. And, then the quesadillas were done and it was off to the races. 🙂
