Spring Treasure Trove

The spring season is in full swing.  New produce is showing up at Seattle’s farmers markets each week.  Won’t be long now until the luscious PNW berries make their debut.

Looking forward to cooking this week. Sunday’s market haul had many spring treasures: cherries, porcini and morel mushrooms, bok choi, pencil thin asparagus, & Braeburn apples. I’m thinking those porcini mushrooms will be pretty great roasted and topped with green garlic pesto.

Check back in throughout the week to see to see what’s going on in the kitchen.
